Oh mighty river.

This morning our neighbour phoned to warn the farmer that the river is on it's way down. Our town dam is full and with all the rain, the banks are flooding. Since last night, we have had more than 50mm of rain.

So we got in the bakkie and rushed down to the river to witness this. All I can say is "awesome"!
