Today...

... there are two things I want really, really badly. One is a pot of Crème de la Mer, the other is an Abigail Betz wedding dress! Problem is both will bankrupt me! (Yes I know, I have posted the dress before, but was paging through my file and fell in love all over again!)
... I am finalising the pros versus cons. Will it be my own business or will I forever work for a boss.
... wondering if it is a good idea to allow companies to advertise on the blog to make money(that is me making money)? Are any of you doing it, and does it work?
... I am SO glad the RICA is done and dusted. A friend who works for Vodacom says there are more than 1 000 000 simcards that will be blocked tomorrow. Chaos.

I want Anne Hathaway's dress!

This year I must really make a plan and start planning the wedding. The poor farmer probably thinks I do not want to marry him anymore!

At least I have a venue, but still no idea about THE dress...

In 2009 Anne Hathaway wore this exquisite white gown by Azzaro to a red carpet event. It was embellished at the neck and waist with diamante.

Plain and simple (if you can call Azzaro plain) and it looks comfortable too. That is the main thing for me. Want to be comfy on the day and DO NOT want to look like a princess turned hooker. This dress is perfect, I only need earrings. (Not a huge bracelet and necklace person)

Wedding day: Sneak peek

Up to about 2 months ago I had no idea as to what type of dress I want to wear on the big day. While waiting for my new tyres to be fitted, I saw the Mariah Carey Forever Perfume ad in a Sarie magazine and instantly fell in love with the dress she is wearing.

Now, it's yay versus nay. With yay being my friend Eloise and nay being my mom. Eloise loves the dress while my mother believes that only the super thin can wear silk. (Apparently silk makes you look fat)
