Today...

... I do not have a clue what to blog about!

I can tell you that Lemmer destroyed my last decent pair of shoes on Saturday. Initially I was ecstatic. Get to go and shop for a new pair. So I drove to town and, as you know by now, PEP-stores. Looked at the shoe display and almost burst into tears. Patent leather and purple takkies. The horror. Walked out empty-handed. The joys of living in a small town.

Pretty Pumps

A while back I asked for advise re pumps I wanted to buy. Black leather or fabric turquoise. The turquoise pumps was the winner, but true to my nature, I was still undecided and got both pairs just in case.

Received them on Friday in the most hilarious way: Get a call from a women in George. She is from the courier company. Her driver is in Heidelberg, but he only has a post box number on the parcel. Can I give my home address for him to deliver the parcel. Me: What's in the parcel? Her: Sorry I have no idea. Okay then. I am on a farm 6km outside town. Her: Uhrm, sorry, we do not deliver to farms. Me: (I knew this) Any other place we can deliver? Guess what pops into my head first? Me: Can you ask him to drop them off at the vet? Do you want the address? Her: Naw, if it's Heidelberg there's probably only one vet...? Correct. So yes, I collected my pumps from the vet!!!
