GOOD AND BAD NEWS

Good news first -

I have planted a giant pumpkin and will be competing with others on the 27th of February 2016. Please hold thumbs!

My plant is growing nicely---->

Bad news -

On Sunday the farmer calls me to the dairy for some unknown reason. I get there, and there is this poor cow with a boil on her side, the size of a pregnant belly. Farmer says he will have to make an incision or two to relieve the pressure. So, this city girl gets up close to see this procedure. First incision, nothing... The second incision hits me in the face as fast as the speed of light. So, there I am... Hair, face, neck and clothes FULL of pus. What you see below, came out after he had to make a third incision. Feeling sorry? I had to shower twice to get that awful smell off me...

It's been a while...

Yesterday we took Lemmer to Witsand beach and I just have to share this.

Bull's Eye!

Over the weekend the farmer took me for some target practicing with my father's .22 rifle. It was a bit scary in the beginning, but as soon as the adrenalin kicked in, I could not stop!

Not bad for a beginner!

Yes, I have not been here in a while. Apologies. 

May was a horror of a month at work, but at least well worth it.

June: Sick dogs. Dogs in heat. Howling dogs. Full moon. I can go on and on!

Hopefully July will be calmer and I will have more time to post!
