Dear Alcohol.

There are a few reasons why I choose not to drink alcohol anymore. To name a few:

... Lately I drink one glass and then I am sick as a dog the next day.
... Drinking and driving is out, so no pub-hopping for us anymore.
... Heidelberg only has TWO pubs, so there goes the pub-hopping theory.
... And last but not least, the below.

... Tired
... can I say it again? TIRED
... I've been on the farm for 2 years. Time flies.

I am sorry about the lack of Blogging, reading my favourite blogs and not commenting. It is hectic here! Hopefully by next week, all will be back to "normal". Have a great day.

I am a grandmother!

What a week!

Yesterday morning the farmer woke me at 05h00. Katryn was busy having puppies. The poor dog had 20 in all, but only 9 survived. Mother and puppies are doing well, grandmother is more tired than anything! There are 7 males and 2 females.

Now Reading... The Stranger Beside Me

Not sure how to start this Blog Post without sounding WAY strange. Am I the only person who finds the criminal mind interesting? Okay, not really just any criminal. I devour books about serial killers. What makes them tick? I don't think we'll ever know.

Can you seriously look at the below photo and say that this man was one of the most cruel and devious killers the world has ever seen? What made him into the "...the most cold-hearted son of a bitch you'll ever meet", as he once called himself?

This brings me to the book I am reading now: The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule. What makes this book so interesting, is that Ann Rule worked with Ted Bundy, saw him as a friend, without seeing anything strange about the man. Even after he was caught the first time, she would not believe that he was a killer. Ann Rule, today is one of the best true crime writers in the world. Wonder if, should she had to work with him now, she'd see the signs and if there would be any...

Today...

... I had to deworm 8 dogs. 1 kg of French Poloni later, but it's done!
... feeling so sorry for my pregnant fairy Katryn. She is so hot and bothered and HUGE.
... Bring on payday now please.
... I miss my parents!
