Today...

... Still shocked after Friday's dog fight. Lemmer and Diezel attacked each other because of a cow placenta. I struggled for about ten minutes to get them to stop. To no avail. In the end, I had to jump into the pooh dam to get a bucket of water. Emptied it out over them and fight was over.
... Realized how unfit I am after running up and down the hill to stop the fight, so started jogging on Saturday. Only did 3km's - In pain!
... the farmer had a light accident. Struck a Bush Buck. He's fine. Bush Buck not so fine.
... I wish I could take afternoon naps like the lot in the photo below!

Today...

... I made an appointment at the hairdresser. Going to see once and for all if blonde's have more fun.
... Can't believe that 2012 is halfway through!
... Sore muscles. Decided to brave the cold and farmed a bit yesterday.
... Some sunshine will be nice for a change. We have not had open skies for more than a month!

Happy. Shocked. Happy. Sad.

This has been THE MOST bizarre weekend of my life.
My parents and brother arrived on Friday for a weekend visit. HAPPY.
On Saturday, my brother has an accident with my motorcycle. Off to the doctor. Then to the hospital for X-rays. SHOCKED. Luckily nothing is broken and he is sore with a huge concussion, but okay.
Then the Stormers win the Bulls in Pretoria. Elated. HAPPY.
And then just as the end whistle blows, my mom gets a phone call. Her sister has just passed away. SAD. Aunt Freda, you will be sorely missed. You always had a smile ready, your heart always open. But you are free now, you can laugh and breathe and laugh again!
