My mother and I are going to his concert on Monday night. The Wonderbra G-string and 36B cup is packed and ready to throw at Mr Diamond. Just kidding.

- Toddler: I grew up with his music. In fact, I think it is the very first song I can remember, playing in the background in 1979! 
- Teens:Sang his songs whilst on top of my double bed, using a bottle of Body Mist deodorant as a mic. (In 1995 my friend Eloise D joined in.)
- Adult: Still getting on top of tables when I hear his music!

But... Never ever will I sing his music on ANY type of karaoke night!

... I am so over our bitches being on heat since the 12th of March. First Katryn, now Bella. Bliksem and Vegter are fighting and howling like two wolves! Not getting any sleep. HELP!
... thank goodness, the farmer is in a better mood. He has been moaning and bitching this whole week.
... it's 4 sleeps until I leave for Cape Town. Neil Diamond on Monday night, yeah baby!!
... African routings are giving me a hard time. Hate quoting / booking Lusaka, Ndola, Kinshasa, Brazzaville and the likes.
... can not end soon enough. I am going to crack a Hunters Extreme as soon as the clock says 17h00.

Giant Pumpkin night

On Friday night Heidelberg had its Giant pumpkin competition. It was a first for us and I really thought our pumpkin was huge. Sadly, not huge enough, but what an awesome evening. Our largest pumpkin weighed in at 89kg and the winner weighed a whopping 283.5kg.

Next year we are going all out. The winner received a R3000 cheque...
